The staff was very kind and friendly

Proximity to Sultanahmet/Hippodrome - 7 min walk. And pretty much to most areas one can cover in a three night stay. Helpful staff. OK value for money.

Cleanliness and location

The front desk gentleman Mehmet is a GEM! He was kind gracious and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was everything we wanted. He provided tips on everything from where to get best exchange rate, to where to eat, and how to see the best Istanbul has to offer. Thank you Mahmet. Hotel was great value in perfect location.

Loved the homemade breakfast. It was wonderful. Very nice hosts. Only stayed 1 night, didn’t see much. I would stay again and stay longer.

The hotel is located within a 5min walk from the Sultanahment mosque and Hagia Sophia. In Addition to this, the hotel provides good breakfast that will tide you over until lunch. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a good location - in the heart of the old town, among its streets, but not going very deep. Pleasant staff: friendly receptionists, very caring manager and his wife, a nice woman in the kitchen who brews delicious coffee during breakfast and a wonderful maid who keeps the hotel clean! And there was a great view from my room!

Location is perfect for people who want to stay in touristic old center. Cute, cozy, clean. I was alone and my room was small but with 3 windows, interior is very nice, hot water is hot water)). Good mattress and pillows. Cozy kitchen with all necessary for a nice breakfast. And for such price!!! Incredible. Thank you Hotel Coliseum Team.

Very comfortable and staff are very friendly and supportive.

Mehmet and his staff are all wonderful and do a exceptional job. The Lady Chef always had good food and even made Turkish coffee on request. Great location, close to all of the sights and easy to navigate. The rooftop terrace is wonderful, we just need someone to go up there daily to do a cleanup. The house cleaner always was a friendly smile and kept the room clean and left good shampoos and soaps. I left them nice gifts, hope they enjoy. Only negative was the front door was locked on Thursday when I went to check out. No one was in the lobby or on duty ??? I have to check the Istanbul hospitality laws, big time fire hazard, no escape. I had to get to the airport and no escape, doors were all locked. Luckily I was able to lower my suitcase out the lobby window to my taxi driver and then crawl out of the window and jump about ten feet to the street. Scary and dangerous. Overall a good visit to the city of Istanbul and Hotel Coliseum. I will return

Just perfect what can i say. Istanbul you called chaos i called my home and Hotel Colesium is my livingroom. Thanks one more time for the warm welcoming. I will be back for sure .

Strong WiFi Location amazing Good breakfast Lovely staff

Very nice hotel, a few steps away of the Blue and Agia Sofia Mosques, close to the T1 tram line that goes in all the important site of the city. Quiet area, althought Istanbul is a vibrant city even at night, we had a confortable sleep all 4 nights. The hotel also provided us with everything we asked extra and transport to the airport. Friendly and respectfull staff.

I like the design, cleanliness,location and the hospitality of Mr Mehmet and the lady who is supervising the breakfast. She made us feel at home. She always smile, active and enjoying what she's doing. The breakfast is varied, delicious and really enough to enegize your day.The view from our room is amazing. Its really value for money.The area is safe and near to main tourist attraction. A lot of restaurants and a mini mart is few walks away. Highly recommended place to stay with an amazing view from the rooftop deck. Daily room cleaning and anything you need you could ask any staff that is willing to help. The transport service from the hotel to ISTANBUL airport is really convenient and affordable. The driver Mr. Adnan is really kind and friendly. I had a good conversation with him. Thank you so much guys.
